  • Mooring lines & springs doubled / chafe-guarded
  • Fenders set for the night’s tide
  • Anchor bearings or drag alarm set
  • Snubber / chain hook rigged (at anchor)
  • Allowed for the falling / rising tide
  • Riding light or anchor light on

Below

  • Seacocks closed as appropriate
  • Gas off at the bottle
  • Battery state checked
  • Bilges dry
  • Stove & heater out
  • Hatches / washboards as needed
